I love the calm, yet eerie tone of this scene. The witch seems an earthly being, a natural part of the forest -- her dress looks like the tree roots behind her -- and yet she has an eerie, otherworldly quality, with her alien/robot-like face, with the glowing, expressionless eyes. It's wonderfully surreal!
